Kika (Cigar)

Kika is the Hawaiian word for "cigar" and these small white or orange flowers are thought to resemble a lit cigar. This lei is skillfully patterned and twisted with the final result is a gorgeous lei. The Kika lei, is woven with two thousand florets, strung through their center, allowing both the crown and the base of the floret to show. These leis are worn both by men and women, but more popular with the men.
